I acknowledge the Waddawurrung people of the Kulin Nation, upon whose sacred land I live and work.

I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.

I am privileged and blessed to call Australia home, and I know that the connection I feel to this land pales in comparison to the values, resources, stories and cultural obligations that Country holds for First Nations peoples.

Although the past cannot be changed, I commit to contributing to the creation of a reconciled future with and for First Nations peoples by protecting and conserving Country, using my privilege to amplify First Nations voices, and actively supporting the dismantling of the flawed systems that are still in place today.
