About

Eden Ariston is a self-taught artist and musician currently residing and creating on the lands of the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin nation. She was born on Jawoyn land (Katherine, NT), where her connection with art began.

Her primary art practices include painting, drawing, clay sculpture and photography, however she also works with tattoo, digital illustration and poetry.

Edens’ artwork is driven by her background in architecture, her conflicted connection with the stolen land she calls home, her deep love for animals and nature, and the use of creativity as an outlet for processing grief and trauma.

Sustainability

I am always looking for ways to make my practice more environmentally friendly. Through my work I strive to reduce waste wherever possible and repurpose unwanted materials in unique ways.

I am eager to push the boundaries of traditional art mediums and materials, and find new ways to make art sustainable.

If you have suggestions I would love to hear them! Just send me an email or contact me via the social media links below.

Got Materials?

Please get in touch if you have any art materials requiring disposal. Open to negotiate a trade or payment that is mutually beneficial while also helping our planet. There is no reason that unused art supplies should go into landfill.
